National Juried Exhibition

Your Place at the Table IV: Growth - January 2024

Deadline: 11:59 p.m. EST December 7, 2023*

For this January 2024 exhibition, we are hosting a national exhibition of visual art works portraying growth, prosperity and resilience, however one chooses to represent such in their work. Works of any physical medium are eligible, further info in call details.

This will be a physical visual art exhibit located in Downtown Raleigh, North Carolina. All United States artists are eligible. The show will be December 2023 at 311 Gallery, located at 311 W Martin St, Raleigh, NC. A best in show prize will be awarded, which entails a $200 value print package from our printing studio for items such as gicleé prints, stickers or other items.

This juried visual art exhibition will be an eclectic and wide collection that both pays homage to, and greatly transfigures the iconic colors, shapes and subject matter of the great works that inspire us. Works of any physical medium are eligible, further info in call details.

Best of the East Coast - September 2023

This juried visual art exhibition seeks to highlight the unique styles of artists within and near the USA's east coast to art lovers and collectors alike for September, 2023.

Friends of 311 July 2023 - A Non-Juried Exhibition

For our July exhibition we are opening our doors for a locals-only, non-juried salon-style visual art exhibition where we will be accepting works until gallery exhibition space runs out!

Spring to Life 2023

Deadline: 11:59 p.m. (CST) May 7, 2023*

For our June 2023 exhibition, we are looking forward to warmer months with Spring to Life 2023. A juried visual art exhibition that seeks to explore the color and complexity of all things flora and fauna. Works featuring  both traditional and abstract interpretations of life are eligible.



 

All Abstract

All Abstract is just what it sounds like, a visual art exhibit comprised entirely of abstract works (non-representational too)!

This will be a physical visual art exhibit located in Downtown Raleigh, North Carolina. All United States artists are eligible. The show will run March 3 - 31, 2023 at 311 Gallery, located at 311 W Martin St, Raleigh, NC. Cash prize for Best in Show.

Your Place at the Table III: Rooted

Deadline: 11:59 p.m. (CST) December 5, 2022*

The annual Your Place at the Table exhibition was created to provide an opportunity for marginalized artists to engage our audience in conversations on identity, representation, validation and history. Now in its third year, we are seeking works that offer empowering interpretations of the word/theme: Rooted.

Your Place at the Table III is open to any living artist, however our goal is to amplify the voices of artists who identify as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) who are often overlooked or met with more barriers to entry within the art world.

This will be a physical visual art exhibit that will run from January 6 - 27, 2023 at 311 Gallery, located at 311 W Martin St, Raleigh, NC. All artworks must be physical, for sale, and ready for installation (additional information linked below). Accepted work will need to be shipped

Work accepted will need to be shipped/hand delivered to the gallery.

Something for Everyone²

Deadline: 11:59 p.m. (CST) November 15, 2022*

Our pre-eminent holiday show Something for Everyone returns for 2022, with a twist! Something for Everyone SQUARED is a visual art exhibit aimed at providing a little something square for everyone during the holiday shopping season. This exhibit is seeking square-shaped artworks of any style (or 3d works that incorporate squares/cubes), or works that play with the idea of squares and cubes. We’re open to creative interpretations of this beloved shape! 

For example, a work of any medium, topic, genre and style is applicable if it is on a square canvas/paper, or a cube-shaped sculpture. Landscapes, portraiture, painting, animals, drawing, printmaking, jewelry, whatever goes! If it’s on a square or incorporates them in some way, it’s fair game! Feel free to play with those restraints in creative ways.

All works should not exceed $800 in retail price. As a gallery we’ve identified the $400-$600 range to be our most popular price range for serious art buyers on a budget, so we recommend aiming for that range or lower.

OMG, WOW! - Pop Art & Illustration

For the month of October we’re looking to liven up  the gallery with an exhibition that really POPs off the wall (or page)! This call for art is seeking a colorful combination of pop art and illustration art works. Not sure if your work is what would be considered pop art or illustration? We welcome unique interpretations of those labels to apply!

This will be a physical visual art exhibit located in Downtown Raleigh, North Carolina.
