311 Gallery presents The Self as Subject a group exhibit featuring the works of Durham artists Bethany Bash, Kiara Sanders and Georgia Paige Welch.

Self portraits, while inherently personal, have been used by each artist as a means to capture their physical and emotional growth from 2019 - 2021. They grapple with the tension from concealing and exposing ones self and invite you to join in the act of self examination.
