A Splash of Color - Tio Dino

When I was a young man I never imagined that I would be an artist.

I gradually came to discover the delight in drawing and painting imaginary things. I like to approach my work with little or no image in mind as to what will appear on the paper or canvas. This allows my uncensored spirit to do its best work without interference. In the case of wood, I let the material suggest what will happen.  I usually prefer to work with pieces that other carpenters might describe as scrap wood.  My goal is to encourage people by putting a splash of color in the world.  If I can make you laugh, that is a bonus.
